Fall musical auditions are 2 p.m. Friday, May 25, in the SAA Auditorium. Vote for Me: A Musical Debate will have the candidates dancing and singing their way through the three-ring circus of American politics. It is a hilarious spoof of the electoral process where every political party and stereotype is turned on its head, and no one is spared! Requirements: 32 bars of any musical theater piece (contemporary preferred, upbeat, and with character). A reading from the show is available outside Mr. Wood's office.

Students will attend seminars with Washington policy-makers, visit elected officials, and see first-hand the process of democracy and our nation's heritage. Fast Start, a new program designed to help seniors with the transition to college, will hold seminars in Houston in early August and one-on-one coaching throughout the summer. The program equips students with a broad base of practical skills and advice in topics ranging from customized study systems, strategic class scheduling, short vs. long term goals, health, to finance 101.
