Counselors' Corner

So close to the end of the school year, our counselors have a lot of valuable information to share...so much that you can click here to read all about it.

Dads' Club

Currently the St. Agnes Dads’ Club mission is to facilitate the following:
1) Leadership and support of the St. Agnes Academy community
2) Community service through action
3) Social events and fun
4) Education and enlightenment through expert guest speakers

Please take a few minutes to complete five questions in a brief survey that will help us evaluate current activities and plan for next year. To ensure privacy, you will need your Academy Connection login.

Our next Dads' Club meeting is 6 p.m. Monday, Apr. 2. We will be discussing events planned for April and May.

The dads will have a surprise event on Apr. 11.

The Annual Powder Puff Football Game will be held on the SAA fields behind the school at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, April 12. We need three volunteers to help with the sideline markings. Please contact Tommy Calais for any Dads’ Club plans. The Dads' Club will be cooking and serving hotdogs at the event.

The St. Agnes Academy "Blessing of the Fields" for the new Athletics Complex will be 2 p.m. Sunday, Apr 22. We need volunteers to help facilitate transportation from SAA to the fields and back. The volunteer should have a permit to drive a large bus. If interested, please contact Lori Pinter.

The school year is almost over and Dads' Club is looking for great dads to serve as officers for the next year. Job descriptions will be posted soon on the SAA website under Dads' Club. It's not too early to think about serving. Please email Richard Becker Dads' Club President if you are interested.

Mothers' Club

Join Sr. Jane, Archbishop Fiorenza, elected officials, and SAA students and parents for what promises to be a delightful afternoon of friends and refreshments. Athletics & Booster Club

We have a lot going on with six spring sports. Congrats to the water polo team for a hard fought win over The Woodlands on Wednesday, 9-7, for the district championship. They play at Clear Lake H. S. today. Our lacrosse team plays at Memorial on Monday, Apr. 2 and at home vs Houston Christian on Tuesday, Apr. 3. Softball continues to have a great season and will play tonight vs Westside and Tuesday away vs district rival St. Pius X. Tennis travels to the Katy ISD varsity tournament this weekend.

In track last weekend, Alex Gonzales won gold in the 1600m run with a personal best of 5:19 and Anna Altinger had a personal best of 47.4 in the 300m hurdles. Our golf team won the district championship and all five girls were named to the ALL-District team! They have regionals Monday and Tuesday - Good luck to all!

Get connected and follow all of our teams on Twitter! Please note that all spring team members need to RSVP for the spring sports banquet.

Our next Booster Club meeting is Wednesday, Apr. 11. Light dinner begins at 6:15 p.m. and the business meeting at 6:30 p.m. Please send all funding requests and agenda items to me in advance. We are still looking for parents to help out next year in leadership positions. This is a great way to support your daughters' success and to interact with a lot of parents.
