The Students Against Modern-day Slavery Club (SAMS Club) is a club dedicated to raising awareness of the evils of Slavery which is all too common in today's world. This includes financially supporting those organizations that work towards educating people about modern slavery. SAMS Club is dedicated to raising voices for human rights and representing the voices that are silenced. This school year our main events are the Teddy Bear Raffle, the 27-hour fast, and the lunch assembly guest speaker on human trafficking.
Mission Statement: The SAMS Club mission is to combat the evils of human trafficking by educating the St. Agnes student body, donating to our partnering anti-slavery organizations, and promoting peace in the areas affected by modern-day slavery.
