The St. Agnes tablet PC program puts the latest in cutting-edge technology in the hands of all students and teachers. As part of the program, students are required to purchase tablet PCs through St. Agnes for use in and out of the classroom. Tablet PCs are embraced by the St. Agnes community as a learning tool to support the school's challenging curriculum. Students earn 1/2 credit for Computer Applications after two years of participation in the tablet PC program.
Students receive their tablet PCs during a required session of computer training prior to the first day of school in August. Technical support is offered throughout the day in the C.A.V.E. Each computer comes with a four year warranty, which is serviced on campus during the school year.
For the 2013-2014 school year, the cost for the tablet PC is $1,850.00. A non-refundable down payment is due at ninth grade registration in April. The remaining balance can be paid in one of three ways: 1) Full payment after down payment due by July1, 2) bank loan from Frost Bank (separate application required), or 3) apply for financial assistance through the St. Agnes Academy Business Office.
