Academy News

Thank You, From SAA Faculty and Staff!: As we begin to close 2011, our community has much to be grateful for and even more to look forward to in 2012. This January, we will begin to plant the grass on our new athletic fields! Thanks to the incredible efforts of Trees for Houston, St. Agnes will plant 95 trees on our new property on Jan. 7. We are hopeful that maybe our lacrosse team will be able to have some of their home games on the field after Spring Break! If you haven't checked it out yet, please drive past the property at the corner of Fondren and Bellaire to see the amazing things happening there.

Once again, our faculty and staff were humbled by your kind and generous gift this Christmas season. These heart-warming gifts make such a difference in our lives during the holidays. This Christmas, we are thankful for the continued love and support of our entire community. Thank you for your time volunteering with us, your guidance as we continue to grow our school, and the incredible gift of your daughters. Their bright young minds inspire us with their new ideas, their curiosity, and their ability to carry out the Dominican tradition in their daily lives. As we celebrate the birth of Christ, we wish everyone a safe, warm, and fun-filled holiday! Thanks for making our spirits merry and bright!
May God bless you,

Sister Jane Meyer, O.P., Head of School
