The St. Agnes Academy/Strake Jesuit production of the 1954 Broadway hit, The Pajama Game, was a smash! This family friendly musical based on the novel 7½ Cents by Richard Bissell was presented on February 24 and 25 and March 2 and 3
The original Broadway production opened in 1954. It was revived in 1973, and again in 2006. It won a Tony Award for Best Musical, and the 2006 Broadway revival won a Tony Award for Best Revival of a Musical. The cast of the 2006 revival included Harry Connick, Jr. and Kelli O'Hara.
