Junior Statesmen of America

Junior Statesmen of America (JSA) is a nationwide, non-partisan, non-profit organization dedicated to spreading knowledge and understanding of democracy and the American government to students throughout the country. The mission of JSA is "to strengthen American democracy by educating and preparing high school students for life-long involvement and responsible leadership in a democratic society." Members of the organization share a common interest in politics, government, debate, law and education.

Engineering Team

Each year the team competes in two main engineering contests where an automaton is created to perform a certain challenge.

Film Club

Science National Honor Society

Advance the students' knowledge of classical and modern science
Communicate with the scientific community
Aid the civic community with its comprehension of science

Qualifications

Must have completed or be enrolled in a second science course: Biology 2, AP Biology 2, Chemistry 2, AP Chemistry 2, Anatomy, Physiology
Must have an overall GPA of 3.75 or higher and a science GPA of 4.0 or higher
Must receive ten points throughout the course of the year through tutoring, service, and donating to fundraisers
Must attend at least 80% of SNHS sponsored events

Green Club
