(April 27) Congratulations to the following St. Agnes Academy track and field athletes who qualified for the Texas Association of Private and Parochial Schools (TAPPS) regional meet scheduled Friday (May 1) at Houston Christian High School.
100 meters - Michelle Rigsby
100-meter hurdles - Garland Parsley
200 meters - Molly Goldberg
300-meter hurdles - Amber Garcia-Rameau
800 meters - Kara Koinis & Berkley Sullivan
1600 meters - Berkley Sullivan

(March 14) Congratulations to the varsity team for receiving runner-up status at the St. John's Meet. Second place medals went to Sophomore Michelle Rigsby in the long jump and Senior Danielle Nissman in the triple jump. The Tigers will compete again at the Houston Christian High School Meet after Spring Break.
(March 2) The varsity team started their season with a third-place win at the Lutheran South Meet. Garland Parsley and Amber Garcia-Rameau scored third place wins in the hurdles. Ashley Njaka won third place in the shot put. The relay team of Audrey Brook, Kara Koinis, Amy Gilligan and Berkley Sullivan (4x800 meters) won second place and the relay team (4x200 meters) of Caroline Bortz, Danielle Nissman, Caroline Sladic, and Alex Guidry brought home the gold.
The varsity followed up by winning second place at the John Cooper Meet. The meet had the following third-place finishes: Kara Koinis in the 800-meter run; Garland Parsley in the 100-meter hurdles; 4x200-meter relay team of Molly Goldberg, Caroline Bortz, Alex Guidry and Danielle Nissman; Rigsby in the long jump and Danielle Nissman in the triple jump. Second place finishes include the sprint medley relay team of Caroline Bortz, Audrey Brook, Alex Guidry and Kara Koinis; Amber Garcia-Rameau in the 300-meter hurdles; and the 4x100 meter relay team of Molly Goldberg, Michelle Rigsby, Caroline Bortz and Alex Guidry.
The junior varsity team opened their season at the Houston Christian High School meet with a third place win for the 4x400-meter relay team of Regina Vatterott, Sophie Roppolo, Sophia Torre, and Julianne Wood. The gold medal went to Jesse Harper-Tarantolo in the 100-meter hurdles.
