ACADEMY NEWS
Let's go "Into the Woods!:" Please join us 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday in the St. Agnes Academy Auditorium as the music and theatre departments present the final performances of the Spring 2010 musical "Into the Woods!" Tickets are $10 and are available at the door prior to performances. Click here for more information. Help us fill our seats! Please come out and cheer on our outstanding cast and crew as they are critiqued Friday night by Tommy Tune Award judges.
The raffle is heating up and nearing its goal!: There is only ONE more collection to get your sold tickets turned in and earn your second Raffle Holiday on Friday, March 12. The collection is Tuesday during lunch. Check your turn-in status here.
Mark your calendar for the Mother-Daughter Luncheon & Senior Style Show: Join us Monday, April 26 at the Hilton Americas Hotel. Senior invitations will be mailed next week! Invitations to other classes will be sent after Spring Break. Don't miss this traditional SAA event to honor our seniors! It's a great opportunity for all of our students to enjoy a wonderful afternoon.
Algebra Summer Review Course: Consider this two-week course designed for students entering Algebra 2 in the fall of 2010. This refresher course focuses on important topics from first-year Algebra, so that students can start the upcoming year in math with confidence and a stronger foundation. For registration forms, contact your daughter's current math teacher. The workshop is June 7-June 18 (Monday-Friday), 9 a.m.- noon, and is $135. Legacy Paver Program - Honor your 2010 SAA graduate with a legacy paver: Pavers make excellent graduation gifts honoring your daughter's hard work and accomplishments at St. Agnes Academy. The deadline for submission of the form is April 1. To place your order, simply click here for more details. Strake Jesuit Spring Fling: Looking for some family fun? Strake Jesuit's Spring Fling is scheduled for Sunday - noon to 6 p.m. All proceeds help support financial-aid programs.
Mothers' Club
"High Heels & High Hopes," the Mother-Daughter Luncheon & Senior Style Show, is fast approaching! The event is scheduled Monday, April 26 at the Hilton Americas Hotel. Co-chair Melissa Hernandez is looking for volunteers to help before the actual event and the day of the event. If you are interested in helping with reservations, decorations, fittings at Tootsie's and Dillard's, or backstage dressing-room help, please contact Melissa at Melissa@rhhdrywall.com or her cell phone (281-830-3411). This is a huge event with a professional style show, so many volunteers are need to help coordinate 200 seniors!
