At St. Agnes Academy, we value the dignity of everyone and respect the beauty of our God-given
sexuality. We teach that sexuality is sacred and promote the chaste, responsible expression of sexuality as defined
by the Catholic Church.
St. Agnes has developed a document entitled, "A Statement on Sexuality Education,"
which we publish annually in our handbook that also includes our "Sexual Harassment Policy and Procedures."

PowerPoint Presentations
The following PowerPoint presentation were developed for use at St. Agnes Academy. Versions of
these presentations have been presented nationally, including the NCEA annual conference in 1998, 2002, 2003 and
2007.
The powerpoint for educators was presented at the NCEA Conference in 2007.
The presentation for 9th graders was developed by Kathleen Baker and is given annually at St.
Agnes Academy as part of our health curriculum. It is appropriate for high school students of all levels.
Permission is granted to adapt and use our PowerPoints for sexuality education purposes. Please
