ROOTED IN THE DOMINICAN TRADITION, ST. AGNES ACADEMY PROVIDES A CATHOLIC COLLEGE PREPARATORY EDUCATION THAT ENCOURAGES YOUNG WOMEN TO DEVELOP INTELLECTUAL CURIOSITY, TO WORK FOR SOCIAL JUSTICE AND TO ACT WITH INTEGRITY AND COMPASSION. |

Since 1906, St. Agnes Academy has been synonymous with excellence, leadership, service, and faith. True to our founding mission, an Academy education reflects the balance between achievement and aspiration. It grounds us and lifts us toward a common purpose and a shared responsibility:
-
To inspire in young women the pursuit of excellence by providing every opportunity for self expression, personal discovery, and individual accomplishment.
-
To instill in our students the responsibility of leadership by challenging them to think and to act beyond themselves - not in a world of what is, but rather in a world of what could be.
-
To immerse our students in the selflessness of service by embracing the Dominican call for understanding, tolerance and respect in who we are, what we do and how we serve.
-
To invite young women to explore the lessons of all faiths so they can better appreciate a diverse global community and celebrate their own spiritual journey.
The essential values of a St. Agnes education are as meaningful today as they were 100 years ago. Times are different, yet our commitment in preparing young women to achieve their highest potential, in all facets of life, endures as the lasting legacy of a St. Agnes education. We celebrate the spirit of generosity from past generations that paved the way for the St. Agnes of today.
As such, we recommit ourselves in this generation to furthering this mission with a shared promise to sustain the highest standard of excellence, leadership, service, and faith. It is in fulfilling this promise for tomorrow that our legacy will truly live on. Indeed, Our Legacy is Tomorrow’s Promise.
