ATHLETIC TRAINER AND ASSOCIATE ATHLETIC ADVISOR Type: Full-Time Teaching Load: up to 2 classes of Fitness Salary: negotiable St. Agnes Academy has an opening for a full time Athletic Trainer. We are a private, parochial high school located in Houston, approximate student body of 800 girls. This position would require a bachelor's degree from accredited university and a valid license from Texas Advisory Board of Athletic Trainers. Primary responsibilities are within the athletic department developing, servicing, coordinating with, and administering a comprehensive sports medical program for St. Agnes athletics. Other duties include working as an associate athletic advisor reporting to the athletic director; provide services for St. Agnes Academy's athletic department, including attendance at scheduled team practices and home and play-off competitions; maintain and budget for a comprehensive athletic training office; implementing programs geared toward the strengthening of all athletic teams and the prevention of injury as such; and organize and maintain all health records and follow-up to injuries incurred, in conjunction with the athlete's primary physician.
