  • Family tradition sways college pick for St. Agnes Academy valedictorian - Houston Chronicle (June 12, 2008) While St. Agnes Academy valedictorian and West University Place resident Jennifer Smith excelled across the board in academics, her extracurricular activities have most influenced her future aspirations.
  • Areebah Ajani educates others about her faith - Houston Chronicle (May 7, 2007) Areebah Ajani said she's been interested in learning about other cultures for as long as she could remember. Her goal is to see others share her enthusiasm.
  • SAA student named 2007 Rising Latina Leader - Houston Chronicle (March 2, 2007) West Houston-area resident Stefanie Paloma Solar, a senior at St. Agnes Academy, 9000 Bellaire Boulevard, recently received the League of United Latin American Citizens' "2007 Rising Latina Leader" award.
  • St. Agnes Senior a finalist for Texas' Top Youth Volunteer - Business Week (February 13, 2007) Plano and Houston students earn $1,000 awards, engraved medallions and trip to nation’s capital Honors also bestowed on other top youth volunteers in Texas. Emily Begnino, a senior at St. Agnes is among the finalists.
  • St. Agnes student wins scholarship prize - Catholic Herald (January 5, 2007) Jenny Yeh, a senior at St. Agnes Academy, was part of a two-student team which recently won a $20,000 scholarship award through the national Math, Science and Technology Competition conductedby the Siemens Foundation.

  • Siemens National Competition-Southwest Region Silver Medal Winners - Siemens Foundation (November 2006) Jenny Yeh and Catherine Wen’s biomedical research uses magnetic fields and magnetic nanocomposites to help enhance bone cell growth which, in turn, increases the rate of healing fractures.   • Jenny Yeh wins Science Competition and Scholarship - Houston Chronicle (November 14, 2006) Jenny Yeh won the team category, earning a share of a $6,000 scholarship and a trip to New York for the national competition.
