National Honor Society
The National Honor Society is a prestigious organization that stands for hard work, dedication, and high academic
status. The four characteristics that are the criteria for qualification include scholarship, leadership,
service and character. The Aquinas Chapter of the National Honor Society is led by its 2007-2008 officers:
President Mary McGeehan, Vice-President Ochanya Ogah, Secretary Helen Hewitt and Treasurer Margaret Wheeler.
Announcements
NHS Membership Applications: Letters were mailed the week of June 30 to rising junions
and seniors (who are not already members) with a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher informing them they are eligible
to apply for NHS membership. If you received a letter and are interested in applying for membership, please
download the 2008 NHS Candidate Application below under Forms. The six-page application is due on Monday,
August 25 at 3:15 p.m. in Mrs. Fritsch's room. If you have any questions about the application process, please
e-mail Ms. Hoover.
