The Independent School Entrance Exam (ISEE) is a three-hour admission test that consists of three parts:
-
Carefully constructed and standardized verbal and quantitative ability tests that measure your capability for learning.
-
Reading comprehension and mathematics achievement tests that provide specific information about your strengths and weakness in those areas.
-
An essay section.
The ISEE evaluates not only your level of reading, but also your ability to comprehend material drawn from both the sciences and social studies. Sample questions similar to those you will find on the exam are available on the ISEE web site. Registration information is also provided in the Student Guide. Please refer to your admissions packet.
