Welcome to the campus where nearly any interest you have has a club or sport or extracurricular activity to match.  We’re an all-girls school, but you’ll find boys in some of the classes since we share with the all-boys school next door to our campus.  We stress academic excellence, but our artists, musicians, and volleyball team are among the best around.  We are a Catholic school, but  you don’t have to be a Catholic to enroll.  What’s happening here is something for everyone!

Special Activities.  Girls at St. Agnes Academy are able to take advantage of a wide variety of extracurricular activities.  Some provide opportunities to meet with students from area schools.

Do you . . .

. . . sing or play a musical instrument?

You can take private lessons or play in the SJ/SAA band, orchestra, jazz ensemble, or Mixed Chorus

. . . dream of becoming a cheerleader?

We have squads for Strake Jesuit, St. Thomas and ourselves!

. . . yearn to perform on stage?

Dramatic and musical productions are shared with St. Agnes, St. Thomas and Strake Jesuit, and Dance Troupe practices after school.

. . . enjoy art?

Our Art Department offers drawing, painting, photography, art history, and advanced studio art.

. . . want to publish your poetry or news stories?

The Academy’s literary magazine and newspaper welcome contributions.

. . . like helping others?

Service opportunities are available to all students through Key Club. Our juniors pledge hours of service to organizations for their service projects.  They choose the organizations they want to help.

St. Agnes provides many ways for you to become your best possible self and feel at home here.  Big Sister – Little Sister week gives first-year students a chance to become friends with the seniors.  On an European Jaunt teachers and students learn about other cultures.  Free tutoring is provided through the National Honor Society. St. Agnes has a laptop computer program for students.  Each class meets together off campus on retreat for at least an entire school day which gives you a chance to become better acquainted with your classmates.  Our variety show and spring musicals showcase the talents of singers, dancers, actors and musicians.  Close-Up is a week-long trip to Washington, D.C. during which the students have an opportunity to study the operation of the federal government firsthand.  Harvard Model Congress offers students firsthand experience of government in action.  Amigos de las Americas offers a chance to serve and to experience Latin America.
