Still need books for semester two classes?
You have two options:
• Our Online Used Book Sale! Buy or sell used books for the second semester by using our online book sale. Save money by doing business with other St. Agnes students!
• Purchase new books by following the directions in the "Bookroom" section of the SAA Web site.

We need your help! The girls will be selling Raffle Tickets at SEAS on Jan. 10 and 11. We need additional parent volunteers at that site to monitor the girls. If you are available, please contact Janet Davila, mrs_j_davila@yahoo.com.
It's raffle time!
All student raffle tickets have been distributed. The holidays are a great time to sell to family and friends. The girls will also have the opportunity to sell their tickets at pre-arranged parish locations. Click here to view the schedule and get additional information.

COUNSELORS' CORNER
Attention Parents of Sophomores and Juniors:
The PSAT and PLAN scores have arrived! We have mailed them to your homes, so you should be receiving the score reports and test booklets shortly.
For sophomores, the exams provide good practice and provide the opportunity to become more familiar with the format of the exams. Please remember that this is the only time your daughters will take the PLAN, but they will take the PSAT again during their junior year. We will discuss the results of these tests during your daughter's sophomore conference.
For juniors, the PSAT results provide an accurate depiction of the actual SAT. You may use these scores to understand your daughter's strengths and weaknesses, and to provide insight into ways to prepare for the SAT. If you have questions about how to understand the scores, please contact your daughter's counselor.
SAA enters into partnership with RMASS
We are pleased to announce that we have entered into a partnership with RMASS (Rocky Mountain ACT and SAT Seminars) to conduct a one-day workshop for test preparation. We have scheduled this for Sunday, Feb. 8. It will be from 1 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. in our cafeteria. RMASS has over 25 years of experience helping students prepare for the ACT and SAT. Last year alone, RMASS worked with over 30,000 students at 1,200 workshops across the United States.
The reason that we have entered into this partnership is that many of our students do not have the time or the financial resources to do a full prep program. This one-day seminar is designed to show students exactly what types of questions they will see on the tests and then offer specific strategies that will help them in preparation for the test and on test day. Included in the workshop are 18 practice tests as well as the RMASS study guide which highlights strategies on each section and provides answers with explanations for all of the practice tests. Your cost is $89 for the workshop. Please look for a flyer to be mailed to the juniors from RMASS to your home address shortly with more specific information on registering for the event.
MOTHERS' CLUB NEWS
• 'Thank You' to the Counselors' Office for hosting the delightfully fun hot chocolate and cookie afternoon last week and 'Thank You' to everyone who supported our daughters through Exam Week. It does take a village!
• 'Thank You' to all SAA Parents who supported the annual production of "The Messiah." It was truly an extraordinary event, again!
• 'Thank you' to Jean Jenner, Eileen Johnston and Marilyn Taylor for spearheading and coordinating a very fast effort to assist and support Martha's Kitchen and 'Thank You' also to the dozen or so SAA women who helped with creating and preparing 350 bags and 65 hand-knit scarves for the clients. You are the very best!
• 'Thank You' to everyone who came in to help Elaine Paleologo dismantle the Christmas decorations on Wednesday. Couldn't have done it without you!
• 'Thank You' to the wonderful chaperones who assisted with and supported the annual SAA Christmas Dance. Our young women are smart AND beautiful!
• Remember that the Raffle Kickoff is official! The first collection date is Jan. 13 and the first holiday is scheduled for Feb. 13! Encourage your daughters to take a little time and sell those tickets over the holidays!
• 'Thank You' to all SAA families who have once again risen to the occasion to support our amazing staff and faculty by donating to the Christmas Fund. You have dug deep and shared generously, and we appreciate you sincerely. Your kindness is truly heartfelt.
