Junior continues in lead of Learning Today, Leading Tomorrow Annual Fund
The St. Agnes Academy junior class keeps the lead this week with 64% participation in the Learning Today, Leading Tomorrow Annual Fund.  The participation results are in and the juniors lead with 64% participation, the ninth graders are close behind at 62%, sophomores are in the race at 57% and the seniors are bringing up the rear with 51%. Participation is the key to securing gifts from foundations and corporations. Every gift counts! We are continually grateful to all of those who helped us reach this point in our efforts this year, and we encourage those who have not participated to consider giving a gift by June 30, 2008. Drama Banquet scheduled for next week
Reservations are now being taken for the Drama Banquet - April 30 at 6:30 p.m. at Molina's (Westheimer loction). We will take a backward glance at this year's productions through photos and we will honor students for their commitment to the theater department. Parents and theatre students are invited. All attendees must make a reservation. Members of the Thespian Society are free. Parents dinner charge is $15.  A reservation form will be sent home this week with your student. Please join us in a reception celebrating the many achievements of our advanced art students.  This exhibition marks the culmination of their hard work and creative efforts.

Madonna Day - Legacy Photos
On Madonna Day, we honor all of our graduates, but we also like to acknowledge those students who are part of St. Agnes legacy families. If a senior's mother, grandmother, sister, or other family member also attended St. Agnes and they are at Madonna Day, please let them know that we are staging a group photo following the ceremony. Sr. Jane will announce that alumnae and their related graduates need to stay in the Auditorium to take a picture on stage. It will take a moment and the memory will last a lifetime. So, please let moms, grandmas, and sisters know to be ready for a group picture. At the reception Megan Clark also will be taking individual family pictures for the Veritas magazine in the Prayer Garden (outside the Strake Family Cafeteria). Ushers needed for Graduation 2008
Graduation will soon be here on Saturday, May 24 at 4:30 p.m. in the Catholic Charismatic Center and we need St. Agnes Academy dads to serve as ushers. If you are a 9th,10th, or 11th grade dad, please consider helping SAA out! It's a great way to see what this special day is all about. Jury members needed

It is that time of year again: Sorority Recruitment
We have many St. Agnes Academy  seniors who are interested in going through sorority recruitment next fall - for many, they are the first in their family. Please e-mail mlberry@st-agnes.org if you would be willing to write either a recommendation letter or letters of support for St. Agnes seniors. Most of the students have done all the leg work, but are only lacking one or two letters. Please help us fill in those holes so that these girls can have the best recruitment experience possible.

Special Thank yous to Kathy Fenelon and her team for organizing the reception after the Underclass Awards ceremony. Nicely done!

Looking forward to the Mother-Daughter Luncheon and Senior Style Show on Monday. Jane Kochman,  Lori Hessel and Margaret Henrikson and their army of volunteers have worked very very hard to bring this event to all of us! Can't wait to celebrate the seniors!

Juniors and seniors will dance the night away tonight at the Junior/Senior Prom. Thank you Donna Grehn and the chaperones for keeping our girls and their dates safe!

Looking forward to meeting the incoming families at the Mentor Mom Get-Together this Sunday, April 27 at 2 p.m. in the SAA Strake Family Cafeteria. A great way to get introduced to the school!! Thank you to Gail Branca and Susie Russo for organizing this event.
