Optimates is the Latin Club open to all current and former Latin students. All current students are strongly encouraged to belong in order to participate in regional conventions and to go on any field trips. Optimates' older-level students help younger students to prepare for the Latin "prep bowl." Dues of $3 are collected in order to belong to State and National Junior Classical League.
