The Speech and Debate Team is open to all grade levels. Our squad competes in 8 to 10 forensic tournaments per year. St. Agnes also offers a Cross-Examination Policy Debate class in the fall. the speech events are: Original Oration, Extemporaneous Speaking, Interpretation (Poetry, Prose, Dramatic, and Humorous), Impromptu Speaking, Duet Acting, Duo Acting, Cross-Examination Debate and Lincoln/Douglas Debate. As students compete and earn competition points, they will become a member of the St. Agnes chapter of the National Forensic League. St. Agnes is one of the fastest growing chapters in Texas.
