SAA Paver Program Update Our first batch of pavers is now in the ground outside the Center for the Sciences and Student Services Center building. They look beautiful! The paver program is still going strong. If you are thinking of purchasing a paver, you can download the order form or we would be happy to mail one to you. Thanks to all from SAA theatre department The SAA Theatre Dept. is pleased to announce our largest ticket sales for our recent production of "The Diary of Anne Frank." We want to extend a special thank you and congratulations to all the actors and crew, and to all the patrons of this wonderful production. We are grateful we were able to share the special message of Anne Frank who wrote in her diary, "How wonderful it is that nobody need wait a single moment before starting to improve the world."
Fall Acting Class Recital - December 5 Ms. Miller's Fall Acting Classes are revving up to perform for family & friends at our Fall Acting Recital, Wednesday, December 5th, at 6:30pm in the SAA Auditorium! Come out and see what your students have been working on all semester! They will perform monologues and dialogue scenes that they chose themselves! Being the Holiday Season, we will have holiday refreshments in the lobby during intermission! The recital is FREE and open to anyone who enjoys acting! Please come out and support your kids and witness how their hard work has paid off. If you are especially good at serving hot apple cider or punch, and are interested in helping out with serving drinks and snacks, Ms. Miller could really use your help while she's busy backstage. Also, don't forget that our 4th Annual S.O.A.P.'s (Student Directed One Act Plays will be performing as soon as we get back from the holiday break, January 9-13th! "Messiah" singers featured at annual SAA Choir Christmas Concert Congratulations to the below students who will be singing "Messiah" solos at this year’s SAA Choir Christmas Concert. The Choir Christmas Concert dates are Friday, Dec. 7 at Saturday, Dec. 8 at 7:30 p.m. in the Strake Jesuit Parsley Center. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased at the St. Agnes Cafeteria during lunchtime, starting December 3. Tickets may also be purchased at the door. Attention ninth grade and sophomore parents! The college counselors would like to invite you to an evening of college talk on Tuesday, November 27th at 7 p.m. in the Strake Family Cafeteria at St. Agnes Academy. It is never too early to learn about the college admission process and some of the factors that are considered by colleges and universities. The counselors have a short PowerPoint presentation followed by a question-and-answer period.
Gail Branca, gbranca@comcast.net , is organizing the Christmas Fund. You should receive your letter in the mail in 2 weeks. Each year the SAA families fund a Christmas bonus to all faculty and staff. If you would like to contribute please send in your contribution to the school no later than Dec. 17th.
