Harvard Model Congress (HMC) is open to juniors and seniors. It is a government simulation sponsored by an organization at Harvard University. Students are assigned specific roles, including members of congress and court teams, as well as a variety of special committees. Students spend the fall semester researching a variety of issues. The culmination HMC is a meeting of 1,400 students from around the country in San Francisco in late January and in Boston in late February.
