Contingencies

January is the month to begin conversations about which courses your daughter will take during the 2017-2018 school year. If your daughter is making a strong A in a college prep class and seeks additional work and challenge in the subject, she may aim to move into an honors class next year. Students interested in moving from college prep to honors should meet with their teachers by Jan. 29. After meeting with a student, the teacher will send an email to the student and parents explaining the criteria the student must meet in order to move into honors next year. Contingency outcomes and final course placement decisions will be based on spring semester grades and communicated via email after the semester is complete.
