Campus Ministry

Campus Ministry is a vibrant community of faith where all students are invited to serve and minister to one another and the school community. Monthly meetings include small groups, prayer, and activities to strengthen the faith lives of Academy Women. Campus Ministers are responsible for keeping the Dominican, Catholic identity of our school strong through their leadership. Campus Ministers in all grades lead prayer each morning, serve at Mass, facilitate and participate in service projects, and facilitate celebrations of our Dominican heritage throughout the year.

Everyone is welcome in campus ministry!

Campus Ministry Core

Campus Ministry Core is a part of Dominican Preaching Team responsible for discipling students on campus. This peer ministry group receives the same formation as the Dominican Preaching Team, and might lead some retreats, but most importantly,  Core designs Campus Ministry meetings and leads small groups.

Dominican Preaching Team

The Dominican Preaching Team is a two-year formation experience designed to give Junior and Senior Campus Ministry leaders the formation necessary to create and lead retreats and campus ministry club programming for the student body. They receive training as peer ministers, and are expected to be servant leaders within the St. Agnes community.

Dominican Preaching Conference

Each summer, St. Agnes selects and sends four student representatives to this national week-long conference at Siena Hights University in Adrian, Michigan. About 100 students from Dominican High Schools throughout the United States and Puerto Rico attend this conference to learn more about the Dominican Tradition. The four rising juniors who attend bring back their experience to share with the rest of our student body.
