October 19, 2022 - Open House
This year's annual Open House occurred on October 19 at 7 p.m. With over 500 guests, the event offered an in-depth look at all the opportunities St. Agnes has to offer its students and community. November 12, 2022 - St. Agnes ISEE Testing Date
The ISEE Test, known as "The Independent School Entrance Examination,” is used for admission to private middle and high schools. The Princeton Review says “If you're looking to attend an elite private middle or high school, this is a test you'll need to do well on."
St. Agnes will host the ISEE exam on campus in November. Find ISEE testing locations here. The St. Agnes Academy school code is 443420.
November 21-25 - Thanksgiving Break
St. Agnes offices will be closed for Thanksgiving Break this November week. Faculty and staff will have limited to no email access during this time. As an organization, St. Agnes knows how important time away from work is in cultivating a good work environment for faculty and staff.
December 16, 2022 - Application Deadline
Any school of the same caliber as St. Agnes will have multiple parts and strict deadlines regarding its application process. It is essential to note the applicant's parent or guardian should start the online application. Applicants should only complete the student section. You can submit the completed application electronically, along with the $75 application fee, no later than Dec. 16.
December 19 - Winter Break
Select St. Agnes offices will be closed for Winter Break beginning Monday, December 19, until January 4. Faculty and staff will have limited to no email access during this time.
January 16, 2023 (3 Separate Deadlines)
1. Financial Aid Application Deadline
Financial aid decisions are made separately from and independently of admission decisions. The admission decision is made before the financial-aid review, and the Financial Aid Committee has no involvement with a candidate's being offered a place at St. Agnes.
Every tuition grant is made for one year. The St. Agnes Financial Aid Committee may renew it subject to the parents filing an annual financial statement and the students maintaining sound academic and high citizenship standards. 2. Teacher Recommendations Deadline
St. Agnes asks that all applicants submit teacher recommendation forms from their current 8th-grade English teacher and Math teacher.
An applicant's teacher can complete the recommendation forms electronically. Teachers should get to know the applicant well; therefore, the St. Agnes Admissions Team asks that applicants not submit recommendation forms before December 1.
If an applicant's teachers prefer to complete the forms by hand, the documents may be printed and delivered directly to the teacher. Once completed, the teachers will email this recommendation form directly to the St. Agnes Admissions Office.
3. Transcripts Deadline
Final report cards from the previous two grades and the first semester of the current grade are required. Instructions to upload each report card are available online.
February 1, 2023 - Entrance Exam Score Deadline
All applicants must submit one entrance exam score to be considered for admission. St. Agnes only accepts the Independent School Entrance Exam (ISEE) test score. Students are welcome to take the ISEE at any testing location offered. St. Agnes will accept and review up to 2 ISEE results.
March 10, 2023 - Admission Status Released
Houston area private schools release their admissions decisions very near to each other. This is an exciting time for many. More dates regarding registration and placement exams will come after receiving admittance to St. Agnes.
March 13-17, 2023 - Spring Break
Select St. Agnes offices will be closed for Spring Break beginning Monday, March 13, until Friday, March 17. Questions or concerns regarding admissions decisions will be received but may not receive a response until after Spring Break.
