Kaplan Letter to Rising Junior Parents
Test prep opportunity for the Class of 2019.
Dear Rising Junior Parent:
Last October, your daughter was administered the PSAT as preparation for the SAT and the National Merit Scholarship competition. When she takes this test again next fall, she will be competing for National Merit recognition.
It has been our experience that sophomores who have earned high scores (Selection Indexes of 165 or higher) can benefit from attending a PSAT prep course or seeking out private tutoring. While we cannot guarantee results, in general, we have seen substantial gains made because of active preparation for the PSAT.
All students, regardless of their selection index, are invited to participate in a PSAT/SAT prep course offered by Kaplan Test Prep. Please find the details here. Please note that while the registration will be active through the summer and the first few weeks of school in the fall, Kaplan is running a Memorial Day promotion of $350 off the already discounted package they offer our St. Agnes students through May 31st.
