Tuition & Fees for 2017-2018

The St. Agnes Academy Board of Directors has set the tuition at $18,850 for the 2017-2018 school year. For incoming ninth graders and transfer students, a non-refundable $750 payment is due at the time of registration ($250 Registration Fee and $500 Tuition Down Payment).  For returning upperclassmen, a non-refundable $650 payment is due at the time of registration ($150 Registration Fee and $500 Tuition Down Payment). The remaining tuition balance of $18,350 and fees are payable annually (due on July 1) or semi-annually (due on July 1 and December 1).

    * NOTE - Tuition must be paid by cash, check, or credit/debit card. Credit/debit card payments will be assessed a separate, non-refundable convenience fee. This convenience fee is a service charge assessed by the third-party banks and service providers. The non-refundable convenience fee is 2.67% and will be added to the payment amount when making a credit/debit payment.  Tuition must be paid in full each semester before your daughter will be admitted to class.

    It is the policy of the Board of Directors that all financial obligations to the school must be kept current in order for the student to continue at St. Agnes Academy, for documents to be released (grades, transcripts and NetView access) and to participate in graduation. Students with a delinquent balance will not be allowed to take the December and May exams or participate in graduation, unless all financial commitments are settled.  Enrollment at St. Agnes Academy is understood to be for the full year.  All fees are non-refundable and are due by July 1.  If a student withdraws from St. Agnes Academy, a prorated tuition balance refund will be granted only in the case of (a) an extended illness, (b) a move of the student's family from the Houston area, or (c) withdrawals requested by St. Agnes Academy.  The tuition is prorated by month, with 20% of the semester tuition balance charged for each month or partial month a student is enrolled at St. Agnes Academy. Tuition balance refunds for withdrawals other than the reasons listed above will be granted as follows:

    There will be a $100 late fee charged for annual or semi-annual tuition payments received after 7/15/2017 and for semi-annual tuition payments received after 12/15/2017. This late fee will apply to any defaults to Frost Bank along with any interest, penalties and late fees on the bank loan program. There will be a $10 fee charged for all checks returned to St. Agnes Academy. Personal checks are not accepted after May 1, 2017 to settle past due tuition and fees.
  • Tablet Computer

    For the 2017-2018 school year, the cost for the tablet PC is $1,750. A refundable down payment of $250 is due at Ninth Grade Registration in April. The remaining laptop balance of $1,500 is due in July and is included on the student's tuition billing statement. If a student qualifies for financial aid, an automatic laptop award is granted. To participate in the Frost Bank Laptop Loan Program, applications must be submitted to Frost Bank on or before May 1. Applications will be available on our website on April 1, 2017.
  • Student Withdrawals

    If a student withdraws from St. Agnes Academy, a prorated tuition balance refund will be granted only in the case of (a) an extended illness, (b) a move of the student's family from the Houston area, or (c) withdrawals requested by St. Agnes Academy.  The tuition is prorated by month, with 20% of the semester tuition balance charged for each month or partial month a student is enrolled at St. Agnes Academy. Tuition balance refunds for withdrawals other than the reasons listed above will be granted as follows:

    • First semester withdrawals in August - 75% semester tuition balance refunded,
    • First semester withdrawals in September - 50% semester tuition balance refunded,
    • First semester tuition balance refunds for withdrawals after September 30, will not be granted.
    • Second semester withdrawals in January - 75% semester tuition balance refunded,
    • Second semester withdrawals in February - 50% semester tuition balance refunded,
    • Second semester tuition balance refunds for withdrawals after February 28, will not be granted.

    ** THE STUDENT'S ACCOUNT MUST BE CLEARED BEFORE RECORDS AND TRANSCRIPTS WILL BE RELEASED.

    • Option (1): Annual Payment of $18,350 due on July 1
    • Option (2): Semi-annual Payments of $9,175 due on July 1 and December 1
    • Option (3): Tuition loan from Frost Bank for $18,350 (separate Frost Bank loan program request form must be completed and returned to Frost Bank on or before May 1, 2017. Form will be available online on April 1, 2017. The loan is structured in ten (10) installments with the first payment due to Frost Bank on July 1, 2017.)
