Tuition & Fees for 2018-2019

The St. Agnes Academy Board of Directors has set the tuition at $19,800 for the 2018-2019 school year. For incoming ninth graders and transfer students, a non-refundable $1,000 payment is due upon completion of the Enrollment Contract ($250 Registration Fee, $250 Laptop Deposit, and $500 Tuition Deposit). For returning students, a non-refundable $650 payment is due upon completion of the re-enrollment contract ($150 Registration Fee and $500 Tuition Deposit. The remaining tuition balance of $19,300 and fees are payable annually (due on July 1), semi-annually (due on July 1 and December 1), or on a 10-month plan (due on the first of each month beginning July 1 through April 1).

    Smart Tuition

    St. Agnes has partnered with Smart Tuition, an online tuition management service, to provide a range of payment methods and plans for our families.

    Log in to the website and look for Smart Tuition on your resource board.

    With Smart Tuition, St. Agnes will offer three payment plans. One-time payment due by July 1, Payment by Semester, due July 1 and December 1, or a 10-month payment plan due on the first of each month beginning July 1 through April 1. All class fees are non-refundable and are due by July 1.
    Payments may be made by:
    • Automatic direct debit (ACH) from bank checking or savings account
    • Automatic month debit from debit or credit card
    • Payment by bank draft, credit, or debit card by phone
    • Payment by bank draft, credit, or debit card online
    • Online banking service from payer bank account
    • Check or money order by mail
    Online Banking Services
    Online bill pay services might not transfer funds electronically to Smart Tuition. Some banks may mail paper checks instead. Please set online bill pay to occur at least 7-10 days prior to the payment due date to ensure that the check is received and processed by your scheduled due date.

    Two Types of Automatic Debit Payments
    Smart Tuition offers automatic deduction from a bank account (ACH), or automatic recurring payment via debit or credit card. A 2.85% fee applies to payments made by credit or debit. Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express are all accepted.

    Payer ID# / Account Number is Updated Each Year
    Smart Tuition updates account numbers each year. This means that payer banking information must be updated each year to include the new account number. The update is necessary so that funds get allocated to the correct school year. Payers should be encouraged to include the correct account number on their payment.

    All late payments will incur a $40 late fee. A $30 fee is applied for failed ACH debit transactions or for returned checks.

    It is the policy of the Board of Directors that all financial obligations to the school must be kept current in order for the student to continue at St. Agnes Academy, for documents to be released (report cards and transcripts) and to participate in graduation. Students with a delinquent balance will not be allowed to take the December and May exams or participate in graduation unless all financial commitments are settled. Enrollment at St. Agnes Academy is understood to be for the full year. All class fees are non-refundable and are due by July 1.
  • Tablet Computer

    For the 2018-2019 school year, the cost for the tablet PC is $1,725. A refundable down payment of $250 is due upon enrollment. The remaining laptop balance of $1,475 is due July 1. If a student qualifies for financial aid, an automatic laptop award is granted.
  • Student Withdrawals

    If a student withdraws from St. Agnes Academy, a prorated tuition balance refund will be granted only in the case of (a) an extended illness, (b) a move of the student's family from the Houston area, or (c) withdrawals requested by St. Agnes Academy.  The tuition is prorated by month, with 20% of the semester tuition balance charged for each month or partial month a student is enrolled at St. Agnes Academy. Tuition balance refunds for withdrawals other than the reasons listed above will be granted as follows:
    • First semester withdrawals in August - 75% semester tuition balance refunded,
    • First semester withdrawals in September - 50% semester tuition balance refunded,
    • First semester tuition balance refunds for withdrawals after September 30, will not be granted.
    • Second semester withdrawals in January - 75% semester tuition balance refunded,
    • Second semester withdrawals in February - 50% semester tuition balance refunded,
    • Second semester tuition balance refunds for withdrawals after February 28, will not be granted.

    ** FINANCIAL OBLIGATIONS TO THE SCHOOL MUST BE PAID IN FULL BEFORE RECORDS AND TRANSCRIPTS WILL BE RELEASED.
