ACT and SAT Accommodations
Juniors who currently qualify for accommodations at St. Agnes and who are interested in taking the ACT and/or SAT with extended time this spring must apply for accommodations with each company. Information about ACT accommodations may be found here. SAT accommodation information may be found here.
It is important to know that if a student receives extended time at school it does not necessarily mean that the student will be given extended time on the ACT or SAT. The ACT and SAT governing boards make the decision independent of the school, based on the documentation submitted with the application.
Students are encouraged to contact Lisa Crank in the Academic Services Center to receive the consent forms and instructions on how to apply for extended time for each test, and to see if proper documentation is in place. A student only needs to be approved one time for each testing company as approval extends to all subsequent tests she may take. As SAT and ACT are separate companies, a student must be approved by each company for testing accommodations, however.
The deadline for registering for the April ACT is March 9.
The deadline for registering for the May SAT is April 6 (if no documentation needs to be submitted – allow 6 -7 weeks if documentation needs to be submitted for review).
