You're Invited!

Welcome and congratulations on your acceptance! As a student of St. Agnes, you will join a sisterhood steeped in centuries of Catholic, Dominican tradition and follow in the paths of thousands of intellegent, talented, and bold Academy women who have gone before you.

We are thrilled to welcome accepted students and their parents on campus for an opportunity to get inside access to St. Agnes Academy.

March 23 or 28, 2023
9:15 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

A program designed for 8th grade accepted students and their parents to answer the following questions:

Why St. Agnes Academy?
Why a Catholic school?
How different will this be from my current school?
What are classes like at St. Agnes?

Parents, for you we have:

a short program including time to mingle with administrators, counselors, coaches/teachers, etc., as well as current St. Agnes parents who once faced the same choices
a tour of the school led by current parents

Students, for you we have:

a current 9th grade student for you to shadow through classes and lunch
a panel discussion with current students who can give additional perspective on being an Academy woman

Schedule

9:00 – 9:15 a.m.

Arrive – report to Gallagher Gymnasium

9:15 – 9:45 a.m.
Coffee and treats with members of the administration, counselors, various faculty/coaches and current SAA parents and a short program in Gallagher Gymnasium

9:45 – 12:30 p.m.
9th graders arrive to pick up their 8th grade shadow and take them to period 2, lunch & period 3

10:00 – 11:00 a.m.
Parents have tours of St. Agnes led by current SAA parents (Parents are finished by 11:00 a.m.)

12:30 – 1:00 p.m.
8th grade students come to Choir Room for a program led by current SAA students

1:00 p.m.
8th grade students picked up by parents in front of the rotunda
