The Power of the St. Agnes Alumnae Network

Through faith-filled relationships, leadership opportunities, and meaningful events, St. Agnes alumnae empower graduates to stay connected, grow professionally, and support one another throughout every stage of life.

A Community Built on Faith and Friendship

From the moment a student crosses the stage at graduation, she becomes part of a lifelong network of Academy women. The St. Agnes network fosters friendships, professional growth, and spiritual support that spans decades.

Whether alumnae live locally in Houston or across the country, they remain connected by shared values and a commitment to service.

Leadership and Involvement Through the Alumnae Board

The St. Agnes Academy Alumnae Board plays a central role in strengthening the alumnae network. Established in 1995, the board focuses on building connections and encouraging ongoing involvement in the life of the school.

Members serve three-year terms and meet quarterly to plan alumnae events, volunteer at gatherings, and promote initiatives such as the Academy Fund. A leadership team that includes young alumnae ensures that graduates at every stage of life feel included and engaged.

Networking Events That Bring Alumnae Together

St. Agnes hosts a variety of networking events that foster both social and professional engagement:
  • All-School Reunion: An annual celebration that invites alumnae from all eras to reconnect, celebrate shared memories, and participate in Mass and award presentations.
  • Fannin Street Luncheon: A special gathering for alumnae who attended the historic Fannin Street campus.
  • The Legacy Luncheon: A festive event where current students and alumnae relatives – mothers, grandmothers, aunts, and sisters – gather for fellowship and celebration.
  • Co-Ed Summer Happy Hour: A social gathering uniting alumnae with graduates from other Catholic schools in the Houston area.
These occasions allow women to reconnect, expand their networks, and support each other personally and professionally.

Mentorship and Professional Growth

The network at St. Agnes extends into career development through programs like the Alumnae Mentorship Program (SAA-AMP), which pairs current students with alumnae professionals who offer guidance on college and career planning. This mentorship strengthens relationships across generations and helps students gain insight into their chosen fields.
Additionally, alumnae can join more than 1,000 fellow professionals in the St. Agnes Academy Alumnae LinkedIn group, where members share job postings, career advice, and opportunities to connect with peers around the world.

Staying Connected Throughout Life

Our network offers many ways for graduates to stay engaged:
  • A searchable alumnae directory via mySAA makes it easy to find and connect with classmates.
  • Social media channels provide regular highlights and ways to stay in touch with the wider St. Agnes community.

Giving Back and Supporting Future Generations

Through our network, graduates are invited to support the next generation of Academy women. The Alumnae Association encourages participation in the Academy Fund, which helps sustain the school’s mission, maintain tuition affordability, and support student scholarships.

Closing: A Lifelong Sisterhood

The St. Agnes alumnae network is more than an affiliation — it is a dynamic, supportive community that enriches the lives of graduates long after high school. Through networking events, mentorship opportunities, and ongoing engagement, alumnae continue to strengthen each other and uplift the mission of St. Agnes Academy for generations to come.
