Senior Sunrise is organized by St. Agnes’ Student Council and is hosted on the first day of classes. Seniors come to school early to take pictures in their pajamas with friends and classmates, watching the sunrise together.

Many get together with friends before this day to decorate their cars with fun, colorful designs. Student Council prepares a donut-and-coffee spread for the seniors to enjoy before their last-first-day-of-high-school begins, and the seniors gather for a class picture.

Fish Week is one of St. Agnes’ longest-standing traditions. Also known as Welcome Week, this week marks the official integration of the new class of freshmen into the St. Agnes community. 

Each freshman is paired with a senior, whose identity remains a secret until the end of the week. The seniors dress up their freshmen buddy in silly costumes and give them dares and challenges to complete throughout the week.

Identities are revealed with Friday’s costume parade, where seniors and freshmen dance around the school in themed costumes. The week concludes with the Neon Dance on Saturday night, where seniors and freshmen are invited to dance the night away in neon garb and celebrate the sisterhood of the Academy.

Veritas Vacation Day (VVD) is a much-beloved day when classes are cancelled, and the student body enjoys a fun field day!

The special twist of VVD is this: the date of VVD remains a surprise to all until it is announced over the school's speakerphone. Once revealed, VVD commences with field-day-style activities, including a petting zoo, obstacle courses, face painting, a silent disco, and more.

Winter Formal (WinFo) is St. Agnes’ winter dance, organized by Student Council. Often held in January or February, student planners choose a fresh theme for the event. In recent years, students have seen a Valentine's-themed dance and, most recently, an aviation-themed dance.

Graduation marks the end of the seniors’ time at St. Agnes, as faculty, administration, and family members gather to commemorate and acknowledge each graduate.

Seniors put on their caps and gowns for this day and listen to speeches from the administration and the valedictorian. Special awards acknowledging standout members of their class are also distributed.

Finally, each senior walks across the stage to receive their St. Agnes diploma, a mark of the completion of their high school years.
