    FUGITIVE SONGS
Award-winning songwriters, Chris Miller and Nathan Tysen's Fugitive Songs is a song journey across America.
This innovative song cycle, conceived as half-musical/half-hootenanny, spotlights people on the run: a disgruntled Subway sandwich employee, a jilted ex-cheerleader, a pair of Patty Hearst fanatics, a man forced to rob a convenience store against his will, and many others. Blending traditional folk music with contemporary pop and gospel, Fugitive Songs offers a new sound for a restless America.

    GONE MISSING...
A wry and whimsical documentary musical of loss devised from interviews with real-life New Yorkers by The Civilians, the acclaimed New York-based company.
This collection of very personal accounts of things “one missing"-everything from keys, personal identification and a Gucci pump to family heirlooms, your dog and your mind-creates a unique tapestry of the ways in which we deal with loss in our lives.

    2019 SPRING MAIN STAGE MUSICAL

    INTO THE WOODS
James Lapine and Stephen Sondheim take everyone's favorite storybook characters and bring them together for a timeless, yet relevant, piece... and a rare modern classic. The Tony Award-winning book and score are both enchanting and touching.

The story follows a Baker and his wife, who wish to have a child; Cinderella, who wishes to attend the King's Festival; and Jack, who wishes his cow would give milk. When the Baker and his wife learn that they cannot have a child because of a Witch's curse, the two set off on a journey to break the curse.

Everyone’s wish is granted, but the consequences of their actions return to haunt them later with disastrous results.

Our campus is undergoing a transformation which will deeply impact our performing arts programs. The construction of our new Sr. Jane Meyer, O.P. Assembly and Performance Hall, named for an alum, by an alum, will benefit each student on our campus. With this 1,300 seat multi-purpose venue, all can comfortably participate in the rich traditions of becoming Academy women, along with their family and friends. Our approximately 300-seat Maureen O'Gara Hackett Balcony will double as a critical meeting space for students, faculty/staff, and parents.

The Jamieson Family Dance Studio will be a multi-functional, rehearsal space for our thriving dance and growing wellness programs, offering much-needed space to serve all departments of the school. Our dance teams have continued to grow and take top awards around the country. With this new studio, our current space will transform into a fulltime health and wellness studio to accommodate our growing wellness program including yoga and Zumba. These two courses, also searching for a dedicated practice venue, will flourish in a this re-purposed space.
