2026 Graduation: Hear From a St. Agnes Senior On Her Experience

St. Agnes Academy
As we celebrate the 2026 graduation of our latest Academy women, hear from two seniors on their experience at St. Agnes. Be inspired to find your spark and passion!
As the 2026 graduation at St. Agnes Academy marks the close of another school year, the Academy community reflects on a class defined by sisterhood, resilience, and growth.

The Class of 2026 leaves behind a legacy shaped not only by academic excellence but by the relationships and values that have defined their time on campus.

Throughout their journey, students have been formed by the Dominican pillars of Prayer, Study, Community, and Preaching – an experience that prepares them not only for college but also for lives of leadership and purpose.

Today, we would like to share the perspectives from two of our graduating seniors in the Class of 2026.

2026 Graduation: Senior Reflections on Sisterhood and Growth

Among this year’s graduates, Valedictorian Alexandra Wong and Salutatorian Elisa Feng offer two powerful reflections on what it means to be a St. Agnes senior.

Valedictorian: Alexandra Wong

From the moment she steps into a room, Alexandra Wong is described as “a source of dynamic light.” At St. Agnes, she has been known for her warmth, humility, and the kind of curiosity that elevates every classroom she enters.

In her graduation reflection, Alexandra looked back on her early days at St. Agnes and the first time she encountered the word that would come to define her experience: sisterhood

She recalled hearing it repeatedly as an eighth grader at Open House and questioning what made it so central to the St. Agnes experience. Over time, she came to understand it fully:

“I noticed I kept hearing one word: sisterhood. And by the fourth or fifth time, I was thinking, ‘Why couldn’t they just say community? What is so special about this sisterhood?’ Oh, how my younger self was about to eat her words.”

That understanding deepened over four years of shared experiences – both big and small – that shaped her sense of belonging.

Alexandra reflected on how sisterhood is found in everyday life at St. Agnes:

“I see it in the rush to the parking lot before a long weekend… in grainy class pictures… and in rolling your eyes at the silly things freshmen say.”

She also spoke deeply about gratitude – for teachers who challenged her, coaches who supported her growth, and family who shaped her foundation.

As captain of the National Champion Tiger Girls dance team, Alexandra also reflected on leadership and teamwork as defining parts of her journey. In her words, St. Agnes became a place where she not only learned but also learned to lift others along the way.

She will continue her academic journey at Georgetown University

Salutatorian: Elisa Feng

For Salutatorian Elisa Feng, the defining metaphor of her St. Agnes experience is fire – something that represents both passion and transformation.

In her reflection, she shared this line from a college essay:

“I’m not an arsonist, but I do see this university as a fire I’d love to fuel.”

What began as a line from an essay evolved into a deeper realization about her time at St. Agnes. The fire she described was not something she would find in the future, but something already built here.

“The first fire that will truly shape me is not the one I hope to join, but the one I found here.”

She described that fire as the energy of friendship, resilience, and ambition shared among St. Agnes women:

“Over the past four years, our school has been filled with the spark of friendship, laughter, resilience, and fiercely driven women.”

Elisa emphasized that this fire is sustained by community – by the people who build and nurture it every day.

Her reflection also highlighted gratitude for teachers who shaped her thinking, encouraged her curiosity, and supported her growth across disciplines. Known for her intellectual depth and analytical strength, Elisa described learning not as memorization, but as connection, then seeing how ideas come together to form understanding.

She will continue her studies at Stanford University, pursuing chemical engineering.

A Class Defined by Growth and Sisterhood

As the Class of 2026 graduates and moves into the next chapter of their journey, their experiences reflect a shared truth: four years at St. Agnes do more than prepare students academically. These years on campus shape how young women see themselves and their place in the world.

Through sisterhood, challenge, laughter, leadership, and faith, students grow into women who are ready to step forward with confidence and purpose.

The stories of Alexandra Wong and Elisa Feng reflect that transformation – two seniors whose journeys capture the spirit of their class.

As they move beyond the halls of St. Agnes, they carry with them the same foundation that shaped their time here: a community that challenged them, supported them, and ultimately helped them become the women they are today.

Congratulations to the Entire Class of 2026

The 2026 graduation is both a celebration and a beginning. It honors not only academic achievement but the growth of a class shaped by sisterhood, faith, and purpose.

As the Class of 2026 steps forward, they do so carrying the fire, light, and strength of the St. Agnes community, always ready to lead, serve, and inspire wherever they go.
